John started the individual grinds when he entered 5th Year and continued them till the end of 6th Year. He was struggling with the Tenses, the Vocabulary, the Aural and the Oral. However, he trusted the work we were doing together and, every week, he was doing his homework, applying what he learned. Little by little his confidence blossomed as well as his French skills … and he got a very well deserved H2 in his French Leaving Cert.
Elaine started the grinds in 3rd Year. Her French skills were weak and she couldn’t make sense of French. She committed to the grinds, weekly, and by trusting the work and doing the work, her French skills improved so much that she reached a very happy Distinction in her French Junior Cert.
Yes, Carole does individual tuitions in Clontarf / Killester area. She also teaches online.
